Candy Cane Soap

Ok, this picture doesn't even do this soap justice. But I had to share....this is my new Candy Cane soap that I cut this morning. It smells just like, well, candy canes!!! I used Moroccan red clay for the coloring and it turned out nice and creamy.

Now, I just have to wait for it to cure...(sigh)....

Star Anise

I just received 1 lb. of star anise from  Monterey Spice Co.  and was dying to make something with it.  So....I made Star Anise soap (but unknowingly...ugh...forgot my dividers at home).  Oh well, I'll just have to handcut these.  But check out the morphing!

Can't wait to unmold this one and see what I end up with!
Til tomorrow...happy soaping!

Orange Whipped Sugar Scrubs

I've just finished making a batch of Orange Whipped Sugar Scrubs.  I can't believe how incredibly simple, yet fantastic this recipe is.  I've been making regular sugar body scrubs but hadn't attempted them whipped...until now.  Look how fluffy they are....

Available at the soap shop or online at my Etsy shop for $8 (8oz container).
